CM launches Saral Transport Helpline 149

Lucknow, Sept 2025 : On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled a host of new initiatives of the Transport Department in Lucknow. At a grand event held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several new services, schemes, and projects.

On this occasion, he launched the facility of providing more than 45 transport services to the public through 1.5 lakh Jan Seva Kendras inaugurated the Saral Transport Helpline 149, flagged off 400 buses, and distributed appointment letters and certificates to women conductors and various investors. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of seven modern bus stations to be developed on the PPP model and inaugurated the renovation and upgradation work of Jupiter Auditorium situated at the Indira Gandhi Pratisthan.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the Saral Transport Helpline 149, introduced the Digital Bus Tracking (Margdarshi) App, and unveiled the new international driving permit booklet.

As part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission, the Chief Minister handed out appointment letters to three women conductors—Sangeeta Gautam from Alambagh Depot, Goldy Maurya, and Anshika Gautam from Kaiserbagh Depot.

The Chief Minister distributed certificates to the new ADTC centres. Certificates were awarded to Vaibhav Shahi of Deoria, Krishnamurti Singh of Jaunpur, Anand Mishra of Sonbhadra, Gaurav Sharma of Etah, and Yograj Singh of Gautam Buddh Nagar.

The CM also gave certificates to new RVSF centres. Certificates were awarded to Dhruv Singhal of Hapur, Aleem Khan of Bulandshahr, Farman of Ghaziabad, and Kaif Khan of Hapur.

The Chief Minister awarded certificates to the investors of four new automatic testing centres. Certificates were given to Rohit Singh of Lucknow, Ajay Rai of Agra, Vivek Srivastava of Kanpur, and Anupam Prakash Tripathi of Mirzapur.

An MoU was signed between IIT Kharagpur and the Transport Department and exchanged in the presence of the Chief Minister by KP Singh, representing the department, and Prof. Uday Shankar from IIT Kharagpur. Another MoU was also finalized between the Transport Corporation and CSC.

The Chief Minister also presented certificates to four people who availed transport services through Jan Seva Kendras. Certificates were awarded to Anumendra Pratap Singh of Ballia, Kranti Kumar, Pawan Singh of Varanasi, and Akhilesh Sharma of Lucknow.

CM Yogi flagged off eight double-decker electric buses, 16 electric buses, one retrofit electric bus, 10 CNG buses, two AC buses, 20 Tata buses, 43 Eicher buses, including 400 BS-VI buses, and 11 interceptors for road safety.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for seven bus stations to be developed under the PPP model at Zero road (Prayagraj), Civil Lines (Prayagraj), Ghaziabad Old (Ghaziabad), Rasoolabad (Aligarh), Charbagh (Lucknow), Ayodhya Dham (Ayodhya), and Vibhuti Khand Gomtinagar (Lucknow). In addition, the CM inaugurated projects for the reconstruction, renovation, upgradation, and beautification of several other bus stations. Developers of the upcoming PPP-model bus stations, Mohit Goyal, Ishwardev Shukla, and Narendra Singh extended a warm welcome to the Chief Minister.

CM inaugurates renovation and upgradation work of Jupiter auditorium

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the renovation and upgrade work of Jupiter auditorium at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. He also laid the foundation stone for renovation works of the Mercury and Mars auditoriums. Renovation and upgradation of all three auditoriums is being carried out at a cost of Rs 1760.50 lakhs.
