Inspires Them to Move Forward with Confidence and Positive Thinking

120 Girls Receiving Employment-Oriented Training

Raipur, Sept 2025 – Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary on Sunday visited the Navgurukul training center at Gadhumaria, established to connect hardworking and underprivileged youth of Raigarh district with employment and self-employment opportunities. He interacted with 120 students undergoing various courses, shared his life experiences, and encouraged them to progress with confidence and a positive outlook.

While conversing with the students, Mr. Chaudhary recalled the struggles of his childhood. He shared that he lost his father at the age of just eight and completed his education up to Class 12 in a government school. Despite adverse circumstances, he achieved success through patience, hard work, and self-confidence. He told the students that one must never fear difficulties in life—confidence and positive thinking are the greatest keys to success.

The Finance Minister assured that Navgurukul will be developed into a Center of Excellence. Currently, 120 students are receiving training, and in the future, the program will be expanded further. The success of the students will lay a strong foundation for this expansion. He also advised officials to include activities such as fitness, yoga, and sports in the training so that the students achieve balanced physical and mental development.

Mr. Chaudhary reviewed the facilities provided at Navgurukul, including food, accommodation, internet, electricity, and study materials. He told the students that if they face any difficulties, they should report them without hesitation so that timely solutions can be ensured.

Navgurukul: A New Opportunity for Empowerment

Under the guidance of Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary, Navgurukul is being run in Raigarh by the district administration’s initiative, providing 120 girls with a free two-year residential training program. All facilities, including food and accommodation, are provided free of cost.

Navgurukul is a non-profit organization aimed at enabling underprivileged youth to build dignified careers. Here, students are trained in fields such as engineering, programming, digital marketing, and business. After completing the training, they gain access to better job opportunities, with many alumni now earning annual salaries ranging from ₹12 to ₹18 lakh.

The leadership team of Navgurukul includes alumni from prestigious institutions such as IIT, NIT, St. Stephen’s College, and Harvard. The institute has also integrated Artificial Intelligence into its curriculum to prepare students for future job markets. Currently, over 1,100 students are enrolled across Navgurukul’s nine campuses nationwide. The Raigarh center, operating with the support of the district administration at the KIT College campus, is helping local girls move toward self-reliance and a brighter future.
