Chandigarh, Sept 2025: During the ongoing flood crisis in Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has been constantly engaging with affected families and volunteers involved in relief work. From the hospital itself, he held a video call with Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh and praised his relief initiatives.
The Chief Minister also extended special thanks to Preetpal Singh Hanspal, owner of Hanspal Traders, who arranged over 150 boats on his own to rescue stranded people and their livestock during the floods.
CM Mann said that in times of crisis, Punjabis have once again proved that courage, service, and brotherhood are deeply rooted in Punjab’s soil. He assured that the Punjab government stands firmly with every volunteer and helper working to save lives.
He emphasized that the Mann government is not only functioning at the administrative level but also standing with the emotions and spirit of Punjabis. This, he said, is the reason why every Punjabi feels during these difficult times that both their government and society are standing beside them like one family.
