Pravasi Rajasthani Day 2025: Chief Secretary Reviews Preparations and Issues Guidelines to Nodal Officers for Various Countries and States
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant has directed that all preparations for the first-ever Pravasi Rajasthani Day, scheduled for 10th December, be completed well in time. On Friday, he held a review meeting with nodal officers appointed for various countries and states at the Secretariat and instructed them to ensure maximum participation of non-resident Rajasthanis in both the National Pravasi Rajasthani Meet and the International Pravasi Rajasthani Meet.
The Chief Secretary informed that during Pravasi Rajasthani Day, sessions will be organized on key sectors such as education, tourism, industry, health, and water. He further emphasized that along with non-resident Rajasthanis, non-resident Indians from other states should also be invited to participate in the event on 10th December.
Shri Pant instructed nodal officers to carefully examine proposals received from various countries and, in cases where foreign delegations wish to meet the Chief Minister, the respective country nodal officer should accompany them to facilitate follow-up later. He also directed that nodal officers establish and strengthen emotional connections with representatives from other countries and states. He underlined that such positive efforts will help attract greater investment into Rajasthan and deliver significant economic benefits to the state.
The meeting was attended by Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Energy Department; Shri Dinesh Kumar, Principal Secretary, Revenue Department; Shri Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department; Smt. Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary, Health Department; and Dr. Debashish Prusti, Principal Secretary, Urban Development, along with senior officials of related departments.
