Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation Launches First-Ever Digital E-Brochure

Mumbai, Sept 2025: Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) launched its first-ever digital e-brochure, inaugurated by Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai after the 175th Board of Directors’ meeting held at Sahyadri Guest House.

The initiative was conceptualized and led by Principal Secretary of the Tourism Department, Dr. Atul Patne, with guidance from MTDC Managing Director Nilesh R. Gatne. Present at the launch were MTDC General Manager Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, Publicity Head Mansi Kothare, and other officials and staff members.

Tourism Minister Desai said that digital platforms play a vital role in positioning Maharashtra Tourism globally. The e-brochure not only enables tourists to make direct bookings but also helps them easily check the distance of tourist accommodations from their current location, thereby making the travel experience smoother and more convenient.

Dr. Patne highlighted that the e-brochure presents information about Maharashtra’s tourist destinations in a modern and accessible format, greatly assisting travelers in planning their trips.

Managing Director Gatne added that the e-brochure, made available across multiple digital platforms in flipbook format, offers an innovative approach that will give a new direction to tourism promotion.

Rich Features of the E-Brochure

The e-brochure is designed with several user-friendly features:

  • Direct booking links for MTDC’s various tourist accommodations, ensuring a fast, transparent, and user-friendly reservation process.
  • Detailed insights into Maharashtra’s historical, cultural, natural, and geographical attractions.
  • Each location is mapped with latitude and longitude coordinates to make travel planning easier.
  • A combination of text, images, and visually engaging layouts makes the information interactive and appealing.
  • Available on the official MTDC website and multiple digital platforms, it can also be easily shared and downloaded via WhatsApp and social media.

The e-brochure is expected to significantly enhance the domestic and international reach of Maharashtra Tourism, giving a strong boost to the state’s tourism development.
