For Comprehensive Development of Alwar Lok Sabha Constituency, Second High-Level Meeting Organized in New Delhi – New Paths of Development for Alwar Parliamentary Area, Connectivity to Improve through Road Projects, Industry and Rural Prosperity to Get a Boost – Complete Development of Bhiwadi, Relief from Waterlogging and New Roads to Open Direction for Prosperous Future – Meeting Held at the Residence of Union Road Transport Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari – Under the Leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Nation Moving Forward as a Modern and Resolute Nation: Union Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : A high-level meeting was organized on Tuesday at the residence of Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping, Shri Nitin Gadkari, in New Delhi, jointly chaired by Union Minister of Environment, Forest & Climate Change and Alwar MP Shri Bhupender Yadav and Shri Nitin Gadkari. The meeting was attended by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials and district public representatives regarding expansion, strengthening, and new construction works of the road network in Alwar Lok Sabha constituency.
Delegation expressed gratitude for projects, presented handicraft material and Kalakand:
A delegation of public representatives of Alwar Lok Sabha constituency, under the leadership of Shri Bhupender Yadav, felicitated Shri Nitin Gadkari and expressed gratitude for projects like Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Sariska Elevated Road Project, Paniyala–Baroda Meo Expressway (Bharatmala Project), etc. They also presented famous Ramgarh pottery, handicraft items prepared by women self-help groups, and Alwar’s famous sweet Kalakand.
It was highlighted that these projects will bring revolutionary improvements in connectivity, boosting rural development, employment generation, and economic activities. Sariska Elevated Road will ensure wildlife protection in the Tiger Reserve while also focusing on accident prevention. Earlier, Shri Bhupender Yadav had also taken initiatives with the Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw for railway development in the region, through which Alwar district received several benefits.
Directions for time-bound and quality completion of projects:
A detailed presentation on road development needs and proposed new projects was given. It was informed that progress was slow on works like Mundawara–Talvriksh–Kushalgarh–Natni ka Baran and Alwar (Baroda Meo) to Agra Spur. On this, Union Minister Shri Gadkari immediately directed senior NHAI officials via telephone to speed up works with quality.
Survey for widening Bagad Tiraaha–Naugaon 2-lane road to 4 lanes in Ramgarh assembly area:
Discussion was held to widen Bagad Tiraaha–Naugaon section (NH-248A, Alwar-Nuh section) from 2-lane with shoulder to 4-lane with shoulder to reduce traffic jams in NCR-Alwar area. Shri Gadkari directed officials to conduct a survey and prepare a proposal.
Deliberations on Bhiwadi waterlogging issue in Tijara assembly area:
Union Minister Shri Yadav discussed in detail the long-standing Bhiwadi waterlogging issue. He explained about CETP and STP works under progress and sought permanent solutions. Shri Gadkari directed for a central-level high-level meeting involving both states and NHAI officials to resolve it. He also proposed extending the road from Neemrana to Bhiwadi up to KMP Expressway for fast connectivity, which Shri Gadkari assured to consider.
Other key proposals and approvals:
- Approval for Ramgarh-Govindgarh SH-45 interchange near village Barwada.
- Early execution of widening of NH-921 into four lanes, bypasses in Mahua, Mandawar, Gadhi Sawairam, Machadi.
- Inclusion of Raini-Balaji (MDR 326) and Panchmukhi Hanumanji Bandikui–Hingota (MDR 447) in CRIF scheme.
- Proposal to declare Bhiwadi–Sikandra SH-25 as National Highway.
- Completion of Delhi–Jaipur NH-48 (Behror section) renovation by December.
- Surveys for service roads along Paniyala–Baroda Meo Expressway.
It was stated that decisions taken in this meeting will pave the way for the early start of new National Highway works in Alwar. The ministers clarified that all steps for Alwar’s development will be aligned with sustainable development goals.
The meeting was attended by Union MoS (Independent Charge) Sanjay Sharma, MLAs Mahant Balaknath Yogi (Tijara), Sukhwant Singh (Ramgarh), district heads, ex-MLAs, public representatives, and eminent citizens.
