CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Holds Virtual Dialogue with Public at Tehsil Level, Emphasises Timely Grievance Redressal and Disaster Rehabilitation
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami held a virtual dialogue with the public at the tehsil level.
Sept 2025 : The Chief Minister said that protecting the rights and resources of the people is the top priority of the state government. He described Tehsil Diwas as a strong platform for resolving public grievances and Seva Pakwada as an important medium to connect society and promote the spirit of service. He also reaffirmed that the reconstruction of disaster-affected areas is the government’s highest priority.
On Tuesday, from the Chief Minister’s residence, Shri Dhami virtually participated in Tehsil Diwas programs organised across all tehsils of the state and interacted with the public. He listened to their issues and directed the concerned officials for immediate redressal.
He stressed that Tehsil Diwas is a powerful platform to address the problems of common citizens and that the government’s goal is to resolve every complaint within a fixed timeframe. He instructed officials to ensure that issues are resolved locally so that people do not have to approach district headquarters or the secretariat. All officials were directed to take Tehsil Diwas seriously, as it reflects the government’s commitment to public service.
The Chief Minister said ineligible individuals who obtained Ayushman cards, ration cards, permanent residence, or caste certificates through false information should also be identified. Protecting the rights and resources of the people remains the state’s priority. Strict action must be taken to stop encroachments on government land, riverbeds, and other public property, and officials should act swiftly on such matters to prevent future disputes.
For land-related disputes, Shri Dhami instructed that committees under the chairmanship of SDMs be formed at the tehsil level, with officers from the police, forest, and irrigation departments as members. These committees will be responsible for preventing encroachment on government land and resolving disputes over private property.
He announced that on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday, Seva Pakwada programs would be held across the state and urged citizens to participate actively. He added that Seva Pakwada is also a powerful means of social unity and service.
On disaster management, Shri Dhami said the state is currently facing natural calamities. He directed officials to conduct a quick assessment of the damage so that relief and reconstruction work could be accelerated. Disaster rehabilitation, he reiterated, is the state government’s highest priority. He also instructed public representatives and officials to visit disaster-hit areas and interact with affected families.
Additionally, the Chief Minister directed that officials must mandatorily attend BDC and district panchayat meetings to understand the real issues at the village level and prepare concrete action plans for their resolution.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan, DGP Shri Deepam Seth, Secretary Shri Shailesh Bagoli, Secretary Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Secretary Shri Banshidhar Tiwari, along with officials and local citizens from every tehsil, participated virtually.
