Saitual DC Meets Mizoram Civil Service Combined Foundation Course Trainees
Saitual, Sept 2025: Today, Saitual Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Lalngura Tlau met with officers currently undergoing the Mizoram Civil Service Combined Foundation Course training at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI). The interaction was held in the DC’s Conference Room and included officers from the MCS, MFAS, and MIS services who had cleared the Mizoram Civil Service Combined Competitive Examination.
Welcoming the new officers, Dr. Lalngura Tlau expressed gratitude that the Saitual DC Office could host them. He remarked that the people of Mizoram look to the government with great hope and expectations, and therefore, government officers play a vital role in fulfilling these aspirations and contributing to the state’s progress.
The DC highlighted the importance of effective coordination and convergence among various departments for better administration. He noted that government work often requires teamwork and leadership, and that strong cooperation across departments is essential to achieve impactful results. He also urged the young officers to work with unity, avoid unhealthy competition, and develop a service-oriented mindset to ensure that public welfare remains at the heart of their duties.
During the session, speeches of encouragement and guidance were also delivered by Pi Rita Lalnunmawii Pachuau, Director of ATI; Pu Lalhmansanga Khiangte, Course Director & JD (Admin); Pu Lalthakima Chhangte, EO & SO Saitual; and Pu Tharun Patnaik, SDO (S), Saitual. An interactive session with questions and discussions was also held.
The ongoing ATI Combined Foundation Course consists of 17 MCS officers, 14 MF&AS officers, and 3 MIS officers. The training team is led by Pi Rita Lalnunmawii Pachuau, Director, ATI; Pu Lalhmansanga Khiangte, Course Director & JD (Admin), ATI; and Pi Lalnunmawii Varte, Core Faculty, ATI. After their visit to the Saitual DC Office, the trainees are also scheduled to visit Tamdil.
