Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for making M.P. a Global Hockey Hub
A delegation from Hockey India paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Samatva Bhavan, in Bhopal, on Monday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the State Government is committed to developing Madhya Pradesh into a global centre for hockey. Meaningful discussions were held with the Hockey India delegation on strengthening sports infrastructure, nurturing talent and establishing the state as an international hockey destination.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that, along with the growth and advancement of hockey, discussions were also held on infrastructure development to transform Madhya Pradesh into a developed hockey centre. Positive deliberations took place on a roadmap to further groom players from Madhya Pradesh at the national and international levels and establish the state as a global hockey hub.
The delegation included Hockey India Secretary General Shri Bhola Nath Singh, Treasurer Shri Shekhar J. Manoharan, Director General Commander Shri R.K. Srivastava and other office-bearers.
