Tourism Department Unifies Logo and Slogan – Tourism Minister Girish Mahajan
The Tourism Department has streamlined its branding by adopting a single logo and slogan. Despite having two major organizations under its umbrella—the Directorate of Tourism and the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation—each with its own logo and slogan, Tourism Minister Girish Mahajan announced the unification. The new logo will be “Maharashtra Tourism,” and the slogan (tagline) will be “Maharashtra Unlimited.”
Previously, the Directorate of Tourism and the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation each used distinct logos and slogans. This change means the entire tourism department will now operate under one cohesive brand identity.
The government is actively working to boost tourism by promoting the state’s tourist destinations on both national and international levels. Recently, the state launched ‘Tourism Policy 2024’ to position Maharashtra as a leading tourism destination and attract a large number of tourists. Minister Mahajan also stated that significant plans and activities will be implemented under this policy to further the growth of tourism in the state.
