CM Dr. Yadav to Directly Transfer ₹337 Crore Bonus into Farmers’ Accounts

Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will extend a major gift to paddy-procuring farmers from Katangi, the tehsil headquarters of Balaghat district. Earlier, he had announced a bonus of ₹4,000 per hectare for farmers selling paddy at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). To implement this announcement, a state-level program will be held on Wednesday, September 24, at the Agricultural Produce Market premises in Katangi. During the program, CM Dr. Yadav will transfer a bonus amount of ₹337.12 crore directly into the bank accounts of 6.69 lakh paddy farmers through a single click.

Appointment Letters for 4,315 Youth

The Chief Minister will distribute appointment letters to 4,315 youth. He will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for 75 development works worth ₹244 crore in Balaghat district. A large number of farmers and youth will participate in the event.

CM Dr. Yadav had announced a bonus of ₹4,000 per hectare (maximum ₹10,000 per farmer) for those selling paddy at MSP. More than one lakh farmers in Balaghat district will benefit from this bonus scheme.
