PHE Minister Prof. Lalnilawma Meets Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar

Sept 2025: PHE Minister Prof. Lalnilawma met with Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, during which various issues concerning Mizoram were discussed.

During the meeting, Prof. Lalnilawma highlighted several projects related to the enhancement of water supply in Aizawl and other district headquarters. He emphasized the need for support from the Union Government, especially for initiatives that can improve water availability across Mizoram. The Union Minister assured that the projects under the water supply sector would be considered carefully and stressed cooperation to expedite their implementation for the benefit of the state.

The meeting was attended by Pi D. Thara IAS, Additional Secretary, MoHUA, and Pu Jonathan Lalremruata, OSD to the Chief Minister of Mizoram.
