CM Revanth Reddy Launches Advanced Technology Centre, Announces ₹2,000 Monthly Stipend for Students

Hyderabad, Sept 2025 : Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday said a day will come when countries such as Germany, Japan, and China will look to India for technical expertise, just as they look to the United States today. He stressed that education is the key to transforming lives and empowering youth.

Speaking after inaugurating an Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) in Mallepally, the Chief Minister announced that students admitted to the ATC will receive a monthly stipend of ₹2,000 starting from the next academic year. He directed Minister D. Sridhar Babu to coordinate with Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to ensure funding for the scheme.

Revanth also revealed that students trained at the ATC would have the opportunity to pursue internships at the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), giving them hands-on industry exposure.

Highlighting the government’s vision, he said the ATC will act as a hub for advanced skills and innovation, enabling local talent to meet global standards. The initiative, he added, is part of a broader mission to make Telangana a leading contributor to India’s technological growth.
