Job Creation and Marathwada Development through Lubrizol’s Project at Bidkin – Industries Minister Uday Samant
Lubrizol India Private Limited (LIPL), a leading company in automotive and industrial lubricant blending systems, is set to establish a modern lubricant and fuel blending manufacturing plant at Bidkin Industrial Area, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Industry Minister Uday Samant announced that this project, with an investment of around Rs 2,000 crore, will significantly contribute to the development of Marathwada and provide employment for 900 people.
An MoU was signed today between the Industries Department and Lubrizol India Private Limited in the presence of Minister Samant. The agreement was signed by Dr. Harshdeep Kamble, Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, and Bhavna Bindra, Managing Director of Lubrizol India Middle East and Africa. Also present were P.D. Malikner, Managing Director of MITL (Auric), Flavio Kliger, President of Lubrizol Additives, and other dignitaries. During the ceremony, Minister Samant handed over the allotment letter for 120 acres of land in the Bidkin area to Lubrizol.
Minister Samant highlighted that Lubrizol Group plans to increase its investment and production capacity under the ‘Make in India’ programme. This initiative will promote industrial and economic progress in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Marathwada, creating new employment opportunities. He assured that the industry department will fully support the company’s efforts.
Lubrizol India Pvt Ltd will establish a new synthetic organic chemical manufacturing facility at Auric Bidkin. The company plans to invest around Rs 2,000 crore in two phases, providing employment to approximately 900 people over the next few years. It was noted that a modern lubricant and fuel compound production plant will be built on 120 acres of land at Auric Bidkin. Bhavna Bindra of Lubrizol India Pvt Ltd mentioned that this project will be the largest of its kind in India and the second largest in the world.
