MoU Signed Between State Government and NSDC International Limited for Skill-Based Certificate Course Center in Pune

An MoU was signed between the state government and NSDC International Limited in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to establish a center for skill-based certificate courses in Pune. This MoU aims to provide employment opportunities for the youth of the state, both domestically and internationally.

The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Principal Secretary of the Higher and Technical Education Department Vikas Chandra Rastogi, Director of the Technical Education Department Pramod Naik, Secretary Smita Gade, NSDC International Limited CEO Vedamani Tiwari, NSDC International Advisor Sandeep Kaura, Vice President Nitin Kapoor, Head of National Skill Development Mohammad Kalam, along with principal secretaries and concerned officers from various departments.

NSDC International Limited conducts skill-based courses in alignment with the employment opportunities announced by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of the Central Government, aiming to provide youth with job opportunities. This MoU with NSDC International Limited will enable the company to conduct these courses in the state. According to the agreement, NSDC will offer training tailored to the skill requirements of manpower in different countries and provide international job opportunities to the students.

The training center will be established at the Government Distance Education Tantra Niketan Sanstha in Pune. Pramod Naik, Director of the Technical Education Department, signed the MoU on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra, while Vedamani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC International Limited, represented the company.
