Lord Parashuram’s Life Is a Perfect Blend of Wisdom, Courage and Righteousness: CM Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, Oct 2025 : Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that Lord Parashuram’s life beautifully brings together wisdom, courage and righteousness. His teachings remind us that dharma is not just about how we act, but also about our duty towards society. She expressed these views while addressing the Inter-State Brahmin Conference held at West Enclave, Pitampura, organised by the Maithili Brahmin Sabha, Delhi Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said that the Brahmin community has always been a guiding force in society through knowledge, culture and faith. She added that the Delhi Government aims to provide equal opportunities for everyone and to honour the contribution of every community with respect.

The event was attended by Delhi’s Social Welfare Minister Ravindra Indraraj Singh, Haryana Minister Dr Arvind Sharma, MLA Poonam Bhardwaj and many dignitaries, social representatives and members of the Brahmin community from across the country.

Calling on the community to draw inspiration from the life and ideals of Lord Parashuram, the Chief Minister said that unity is the greatest strength of any society. “Only a united society can achieve true progress,” she said. She also highlighted that the Brahmin community has always been devoted to both knowledge and courage keeping alive the values of righteousness, education and harmony through generations.

Appealing for collective effort in Delhi’s development, the Chief Minister said that it is time for the city to move ahead faster and set an example as a modern and developed capital. She reaffirmed her government’s commitment to equal opportunities for all and to recognising the role every community plays in Delhi’s growth.

Expressing gratitude to the gathering, CM Rekha Gupta said, “Your cooperation is our biggest motivation in ensuring the all-round development of Delhi and the progress of every section of society.” She added that such events not only celebrate cultural unity but also strengthen the spirit of service, harmony and togetherness.
