Scouts and Guides Help Students Develop Discipline, Says Education Minister

Jaipur, Oct 2025 : The service period in Scouts and Guides helps students develop habits of discipline and also plays a significant role in shaping them into better citizens, said Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar on Thursday during a program in Udaipur.

On his arrival in Udaipur, the Education Minister was welcomed with a Guard of Honour protocol by the office-bearers of Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Rajasthan State, led by Ra.Ba.U.Ma Vi. Chhani, Block In-Charge Amrit Lal Meghwal of Block Naya Gav, and Priyanka Kalal of Nagfani College.

During an interaction program at RNT Medical College with education officials from Udaipur and Salumber districts, Assistant State Organization Commissioner Pradeep Meghwal welcomed the minister by presenting a scarf.

Also present on the occasion were Krishna Kunal (IAS), Secretary, School Education Department, Jaipur, State Secretary of Hindustan Scouts and Guides Rajasthan State Narendra Aditya, Ripu Daman Singh Gill, State Organization Commissioner (Scout), Pradeep Meghwal, Assistant State Organization Commissioner, Udaipur Division, Shanta Vaishnav (DO) Udaipur, Rama Jain, Ishwari Reger, and Tulsi Chanda.

The Education Minister emphasized that participation in Scouts and Guides instills discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities among students, contributing to their holistic development as responsible citizens.
