Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Heads to Bengaluru to Attract State Investments
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will visit Bengaluru on August 7-8 for an interactive session with industrialists as part of the ‘Road to GIS’ series, aimed at boosting investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. This initiative is in preparation for the “Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investors Summit 2025,” scheduled for February 2025. During his visit, Dr. Yadav will focus on inviting investments in the IT sector, engaging with major IT companies headquartered in Bengaluru, such as Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and IBM.
The session will feature an in-depth discussion on investments across several sectors, including Information Technology (IT), Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES), Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), Textiles and Apparel, Aerospace and Defence, Automotive and OEM, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, and Medical Devices. As the state seeks to enhance its IT and electronics industries, new development opportunities will emerge for Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, prominent industrialists, investors, and stakeholders from various fields will join the session. On the evening of August 7th, a networking dinner will provide industrialists with a unique chance to engage with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and explore potential collaborations.
In the session, a presentation on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh will be given by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and the Department of Science and Technology/MPSEDC. Prominent industrialists will share their experiences in Madhya Pradesh and give information about the industrial scenario and future development prospects of the state. On August 8, the film ‘Advantage Madhya Pradesh’ will be shown in an interactive session, which will provide information to the industrialists about the investment facilities for setting up their industries in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will apprise about the government’s vision and innovations to promote investment, innovation, and sustainable development in Madhya Pradesh. There will also be a one-to-one meeting with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, as well as round table discussions with global competence centers, IT, and apparel sectors.
Following successful sessions in Mumbai and Coimbatore, the event now moves to Bengaluru, known as the Silicon Valley of India and a major industrial hub in Karnataka. The goal of this session is to position Madhya Pradesh as the premier investment destination in the country by highlighting the state’s abundant resources, skilled workforce, and favorable industrial environment to leading industrial institutions. The state government is also implementing innovative measures to boost the IT sector in Madhya Pradesh.
