Bhoomipujan for Mhalginagar Chowk and Manewada Chowk Flyovers in Nagpur
Nagpur : The construction of flyovers at Mhalginagar Chowk and Manewada Chowk will greatly benefit citizens by alleviating traffic congestion and completing the ring road. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasized that these flyovers will relieve the area from traffic jams.
The Bhoomipujan ceremony for these flyovers was organized by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari at Udainagar Chowk, Ring Road. During the event, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis highlighted the significant improvements in Nagpur over the past decade, thanks to Union Minister Gadkari’s efforts in constructing high-quality roads and flyovers. Fadnavis also noted the allocation of approximately ₹600 crores for public health improvements in Nagpur, including modern facilities at the medical college.
Union Minister Gadkari addressed the long-standing traffic issues in the area and assured that the new flyovers will address these problems. He mentioned that the citizens have long requested this infrastructure and that, following the Bhoomipujan ceremony, the flyovers will be completed soon.
The ceremony was attended by MLA Mohan Mate and other local representatives.
