State-Level Haryana Day Celebrations to be Held from November 1 to 3 in Panchkula

Chandigarh, Oct 2025 – The Haryana Government will organize the State-Level Haryana Day Celebrations on the occasion of the State’s Foundation Day from November 1 to 3, 2025, at Yavanika Ground, Sector 5, Panchkula.
In addition, the International Gita Mahotsav will commence on November 15 in Kurukshetra, while a grand event titled ‘Sardar@150 Unity March’ will be held to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with the main event taking place in Fatehabad on October 31.
The three-day Haryana Day celebration will be inaugurated by Governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh, while Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will also be present on the occasion. Ministers, senior officials, artists, and a large number of citizens are expected to participate in the celebrations.
Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi chaired a high-level meeting today to review the preparations for these events.
During the meeting, it was informed that a Heritage Exhibition will be organized to showcase Haryana’s traditional culture, attire, agricultural tools, folk art, and handicrafts during the Haryana Day celebrations. The objective of this exhibition is to connect the younger generation with the state’s rich cultural roots. Visitors will get a glimpse of Haryana’s centuries-old traditions and craftsmanship.
At the festival venue, stalls featuring Haryana’s traditional cuisine will be set up, offering visitors an opportunity to savor the authentic taste of Haryanvi food.
The Haryana Day celebrations will also be held simultaneously across all districts of the state, with the main event at Panchkula being telecast live for public viewing.
Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi directed all Deputy Commissioners to ensure maximum public participation by involving local community leaders, self-help groups, social organizations, political representatives, schools, and colleges to make the celebrations a grand success.
It was also informed that the ‘Sardar@150 Unity March’ will be organized across all districts of the state, featuring padyatras to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with the main event scheduled in Fatehabad on October 31.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner & Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, Director General Sh. K. Makarand Pandurang, and other senior officers were present at the meeting.
