Pope Leo IV meets Head of States at the Vatican City.
On 30th October, 2025 his greatness Pope Leo IV had met two of the World Leaders at the Holy See in Vatican City. Both the meetings are symbolic, and of importance with cognizance to International Brotherhood & World Peace.
Holy Father Leo XIV received in Audience, in the Apostolic Palace, the President of the Gabonese Republic, His Excellency Mr. Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, who subsequently met with His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of His Holiness, accompanied by the Reverend Monsignor Daniel Pacho, Undersecretary for the Multilateral Sector of the Section for Relations with States and International Organisations.

During the cordial talks, held at the Secretariat of State, the good relations between the Holy See and Gabon were evoked, and various aspects of the country’s political and socio-economic situation were discussed, especially its collaboration with the local Church in the fields of healthcare, education, and professional formation of the young.
The conversation continued with an exchange of opinions on themes of a regional and international nature, highlighting the importance of promoting dialogue and reconciliation between peoples. At another time, Pope Leo XIV received the President of the Republic of Fiji, Ratu Naiqama Tawakecolati Lalabalavu, in audience in the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace.

HE Lalabalavu subsequently met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Holy See Secretary of State, accompanied by Messenger Daniel Pacho, Undersecretary for the Multilateral Sector of the Section for Relations with States and International Organisations.
During the cordial discussions in the Secretariat of State, reads a note from the Holy See Press Office, both the parties have expressed satisfaction for the existing bilateral relations and appreciation for the role of the Church in the country. The discussions, the communiqué continues, also touched upon some aspects of the country’s socio-political situation, including environmental protection and the fight against transnational crimes.
