Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Participates in Several Religious Ceremonies

Religious Events Illuminate Life with Faith, Devotion, and Knowledge: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, Nov 2025 : Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta today participated in several religious ceremonies across the city. At these gatherings, she not only expressed deep devotion but also prayed for peace, prosperity, and happiness in the lives of the people of Delhi. The Chief Minister said that while the tradition of Sanatan Dharma is essential to India’s cultural foundation, development and progress are equally important. She observed that such events bring mental peace and also strengthen the spirit of communal harmony.

Among the major events attended by the Chief Minister were the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya and Kalash Yatra organized at Janmashtami Park in Punjabi Bagh, the Tulsi Vivah ceremony in Shalimar Bagh, and the Shyam Baba Janmotsav and Ekadashi Udyapan in Pitampura. The Chief Minister, along with numerous devotees, took part in these spiritual gatherings, where people participated with warmth and devotion. At these events, she prayed for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of all citizens of Delhi. At the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya, the Chief Minister respectfully received blessings from Guruji. The Kalash Yatra saw a large participation of devotees, particularly women dressed in traditional attire, who carried sacred kalash pots on their heads and joined the procession with devotional fervor. The atmosphere resonated with the chants of “Hare Ram, Hare Krishna,” filling the surroundings with spiritual energy.

Attending the Tulsi Vivah ceremony, the Chief Minister extended her greetings to the people of Delhi on this auspicious occasion. She prayed that with the blessings of Goddess Tulsi and Lord Shaligram, every household may be filled with peace, happiness, and prosperity. She wished that the lives of all citizens be illuminated with the blessings of good health and well-being. Speaking at the event, Mrs. Gupta said that this celebration, steeped in devotion, faith, and tradition, beautifully symbolizes the faith of women, the values of family, and the unity of society. She further added that such occasions are not merely religious events but serve as a means to enlighten human life with the radiance of faith, devotion, and wisdom. They inspire individuals to follow the path of truth, service, and dedication. According to the Chief Minister, when a person nurtures devotion toward God and a firm belief in righteous deeds, his life becomes not only personally fulfilling but also an instrument for the welfare of society and the nation.

The Chief Minister stated that such religious and cultural events strengthen unity, harmony, and spiritual consciousness in society. She said that Delhi’s identity lies not only in its development and progress but also in the cultural and spiritual values deeply rooted in its soul. She appealed to all citizens to continue walking the path of devotion and righteousness and to promote the spirit of love, service, and dedication within society.
