Farmers to Get Relief from Low-Voltage Problems

Raipur, Nov 2025 : A major achievement has been recorded in strengthening the power distribution system in Kondagaon district under the Chief Minister’s Power Infrastructure Development Scheme. As per the directions of Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap and Vice Chairperson of Bastar Development Authority & Kondagaon MLA Ms. Lata Usendi, significant steps have been taken to reinforce the district’s electricity network.

Recently, the capacity of the 3.15 MVA power transformer at the 33/11 kV Vishrampuri substation in Kondagaon district has been upgraded to 5 MVA. This will ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply, especially for agricultural consumers in the region.

In continuation of this work, administrative approval has been granted to upgrade the 3.15 MVA power transformers to 5 MVA at the 33/11 kV substations located in Mockdi, Bijapur, Kibai Balenga, Girola, and Borgoan. Additionally, administrative approval has also been received for capacity enhancement of the 11 kV Barkai and Randhna feeders of the 33/11 kV Randhna substation, the 11 kV Bhumka feeder of the 33/11 kV Bade Dongar substation, and the 11 kV Sonabeda feeder of the 33/11 kV Farsagaon substation.
