CM Rekha Gupta Joins the ‘Meeting of Shri Bageshwar Balaji and Shri Banke Bihari’ Padayatra
New Delhi, Nov 2025 : Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today joined the “Sanatan Hindu Unity Padayatra 2025 – The Meeting of Shri Bageshwar Balaji and Shri Banke Bihari” held at the Katyayani Shakti Peeth in Chhatarpur. Surrounded by thousands of devotees, the Chief Minister described the event as a deeply spiritual and emotional experience.
She said the Padayatra is not just a display of faith, but a celebration of India’s eternal Sanatan tradition, a way of life that has, for centuries, united people through values of dharma, duty, compassion, and humanity.
Delhi Cabinet Ministers Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Kapil Mishra were also present at the event. Led by the revered Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, the historic Padayatra began from the Katyayani Shakti Peeth in Chhatarpur and will conclude at the Shri Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan. Throughout the journey, the chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Hari Bol” echoed in the air, filling the atmosphere with devotion, energy, and a sense of unity. The massive participation of devotees turned the event into a nationwide celebration of faith and cultural harmony.
The Chief Minister stated that this Padayatra is sending a powerful message of unity, faith, social harmony, and spiritual awakening to the entire nation – a message that is particularly vital today. She described it as a living and inspiring symbol of India’s rich cultural heritage.
Concluding her address, the Chief Minister prayed to Shri Bageshwar Balaji to continue bestowing his divine grace upon Delhi and the entire nation, so that the country may keep progressing on the path of peace, harmony, prosperity and awakened spiritual consciousness.
