MP Cultural Festival is a Precious Gift for Nagpurians: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Nagpur, Nov 2025 : The MP Cultural Festival, which provides a platform for local and Vidarbha artists and offers the opportunity to witness the art of national and international performers, is a precious gift for the people of Nagpur, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He also praised and thanked Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, for the concept of this festival.
On the second day of the MP Cultural Festival, a live concert by renowned singer Vishal Mishra was organized at the playground of Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education in Krida Chowk, Hanuman Nagar. The Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, was present at the event and addressed the gathering.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Minister of State for Finance and Planning Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, MLA Praveen Datke, former Minister Adv. Sulekha Kumbhare, and all office-bearers of the festival committee were also present at the occasion.
Fadnavis congratulated everyone for the success of the Gita recitation initiative organized by the festival committee, aimed at passing on the knowledge of the Gita to the next generation.
“Nagpur Should Have a One-Lakh Capacity Stadium” – Union Minister Nitin Gadkari
The increasing response of Nagpurians to the festival programs is a testimony to its success. However, due to limited space, many people are unable to enjoy the events. Therefore, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed the hope that a stadium with a capacity of one lakh should be constructed in Nagpur in the future. He also congratulated schools, teachers, and students for achieving three world records during the morning session of Gita recitation.
The festival program was introduced by Prof. Anil Sole, President of the MP Cultural Festival Organizing Committee. The proceedings were conducted by Bal Kulkarni and Renuka Deshkar.
