End unemployment and caste discrimination in Uttar Pradesh: Sanjay Singh (AAP MP)
Provide jobs to youth and end caste discrimination against Dalits, backward classes, and the oppressed: Sanjay Singh
A massive march from Ayodhya to Prayagraj under the leadership of AAP Uttar Pradesh in-charge Sanjay Singh, demanding employment and dignity for the people of UP.
Ayodhya, Nov 2025 : On Thursday, the second day of the “Give Employment – Give Social Justice” march led by AAP UP in-charge and MP Sanjay Singh—launched on Wednesday from Ayodhya—the yatra progressed from Chandpur, Harbanshpur and Dhabasemer, passing through Kalyan Bhadarsa and reaching Bikapur in Ayodhya. At Nahariya Chowki, Ajit Singh, along with hundreds of AAP supporters and locals, warmly welcomed Sanjay Singh and fellow leaders.
At subsequent stops—Masodha (Sagar Sharma), in front of Roadways Workshop (Ram Pratap Yadav), Bhartakund (Ashok Kumar Gond), Pipri Jalalpur (Vinod Kumar Rawat), and Shahganj Mod (Alok Dwivedi)—large crowds enthusiastically greeted the march. This 13-day, nearly 200-km-long yatra will travel from Ayodhya to Prayagraj via Sultanpur and Amethi.

Sanjay Singh said that Uttar Pradesh has become the state with the highest unemployment in the country. Not only are government jobs scarce, but farmers, weavers, and those associated with cottage and small industries are also battling economic distress and lack of livelihood opportunities.
He stated, “Farmers do not get fair prices for their crops, they die standing in lines for fertilizer, and are driven to suicide under mounting debt. ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, Shiksha Mitras, and instructors are still waiting for regularisation.” He added that from reservation scams in teacher recruitment to issues related to TET eligibility, the education sector is riddled with inequality. Small industries are shutting down and youth are facing a deep employment crisis.
Speaking on the second major issue of the march, he said that Uttar Pradesh ranks among the highest in the country in cases of social discrimination and injustice. “Incidents of discrimination against Dalits at temples, weddings, and public places are still happening. Manipulation in reservations is common. From police stations to tehsils, there is no door open for justice,” he said.
Day Two of AAP’s Loud Call Against Unemployment and Inequality in UP Receives Massive Public Support
The second day of AAP’s march against unemployment and inequality in Uttar Pradesh witnessed overwhelming public support. At various locations, people welcomed the leaders and joined the march to express solidarity. Sanjay Singh said the march is not a political event but a struggle for people’s rights and dignity. He said the movement will continue until every person receives employment and equality.
He added that one step of this march is for giving jobs to the unemployed youth of UP, and the other is for securing justice for Dalits, backward classes, the oppressed, and the deprived. Appealing to the public, he urged: “The time has come to raise your voice for your rights. Step out of your homes and join this march against injustice and oppression. Tell this authoritarian government that no one can now deny people the right to equal opportunity and dignity.”
Employment for youth and an end to caste discrimination against Dalits, backward classes, and the oppressed – Sanjay Singh
Sanjay Singh said the Aam Aadmi Party seeks to build a system where every young person receives dignified employment and where no Dalit, backward, oppressed, or deprived citizen faces caste-based discrimination. He added that democracy cannot be truly strong until the last person in society receives justice and equal opportunity. He emphasised that employment and social justice are the true markers of a nation’s progress, and AAP continues to fight for these ideals.
