MP Now a Preferred Industrial Destination; Expo to Connect Local Industries Globally: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly becoming a preferred state for industries. Events like Fed Expo play a crucial role in connecting local industries and startups to national and international platforms. Such expos serve as major forums for the development of industries, innovation, and the MSME sector. Addressing the Fed Expo-2025 ceremony organised at Govindpura, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasised the state government’s commitment to promoting industries, providing maximum support to the MSME sector, and creating new employment opportunities for youth.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the three-day ‘Fed Expo-2025’, organised by the Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries, with a lamp lighting ceremony at the Govindpura Industrial Area Exhibition Hall. The expo will continue until November 23, featuring wide participation from entrepreneurs, investors, and organisations from across India and abroad, including Russia, Oman, and Taiwan. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also unveiled the Epic Project, designed to bring together self-help groups, schools, colleges, village panchayats and government offices on a single platform. 1,000 incubation centres will be established across the state, where startups from every sector will receive comprehensive support. The Epic Project aims to create 1 million job opportunities.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is achieving unique recognition on the global stage. To foster industrial growth, the state has allotted 5,000 acres of land to industrialists and investors, effectively inviting 5,000 new industrialists to Madhya Pradesh. He reiterated that all promises made to industrialists are being fulfilled with utmost commitment, and promoting trade and commerce remains his highest priority.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the Fed Expo exhibition with Ganesh Puja and ribbon-cutting, visiting various stalls and praising innovation, machinery, technical solutions and products showcased by local entrepreneurs.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also underlined the historic friendship between India and Russia, and ongoing efforts for urban development with Russia, especially the twinning of Bhopal and Smolensk. He urged foreign entrepreneurs from Russia, Oman and Taiwan to join in the journey of making Madhya Pradesh self-reliant and developed.
Federation President Shri Deepak Sharma stated that, amid changing global conditions, this expo provides a timely platform, with representatives from Russia, Oman, and Taiwan participating both as chamber delegates and buyers. Joint President Shri Akhilesh Rathi highlighted the international dimension of the expo and described the Federation as a “chamber of chambers.” He mentioned that under Dr. Yadav’s leadership, rapid decisions favouring industrialisation are being made, and top industry groups now choose Madhya Pradesh for investment. Investment summits have benefited both large and small industries.
Russian delegate Shri Arkipenkov Vladimir, President of the Smolensk Chamber of Commerce and Industries, addressed the gathering in Russian, expressing confidence that the expo would foster collaboration across industrial, cultural, tourism and other development sectors.
