Rajasthan Achieves 88% Voter Mapping in Special Intensive Revision–2026
Jaipur, Nov 2025 : The Special Intensive Revision (SIR)–2026 of voter lists in Rajasthan is progressing rapidly and transparently under the direction of the Election Commission of India. Launched on 4 November, the campaign involves booth-level officers visiting households to collect, verify, and digitize electoral rolls.
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Mr. Naveen Mahajan stated that the new “Search by Elector Details” feature on the ECI portal has significantly accelerated voter mapping. In the past 11 days, mapping has increased from 70% to approximately 88%, meaning nearly 88% of voters in the state no longer need to submit any documents.
Out of 5.46 crore electoral forms in the state, over 5.09 crore have already been uploaded to the ECI-Net, achieving 94% digitization five days ahead of schedule. This milestone reflects strong technical capability, effective teamwork, and continuous district-level monitoring.
CEO Mahajan reported that over 18,000 polling booths have completed 100% of the required work. Barmer district leads in booth-level completion, with 1,407 polling stations fully updated, followed by Balotra with 751 and Churu with 668 fully completed polling stations.
Additionally, 100% of electoral forms have been digitized in the assembly constituencies of Barmer, Gudamalani, Chouhtan, and Baytu. Rajasthan now ranks among the top states in India for voter list digitization and mapping.
With just five days remaining, the CEO urged all voters to ensure their forms are submitted, even if mapping is not yet completed. Only names of voters who submit their forms will be included in the draft voter list to be published on 9 December.
This effort highlights Rajasthan’s commitment to efficient, transparent, and technologically advanced electoral management, ensuring maximum voter participation and accurate records ahead of the 2026 elections.
