22nd Mizoram Higher Secondary School Games To Begin

Aizawl, Dec 2025: The School Education Department has announced that the 22nd Mizoram Higher Secondary School Games will commence in Aizawl on December 5, 2025, with participation from students across the state.

This year’s Higher Secondary School Games will feature a wide range of sports disciplines, including Athletics, Football, Volleyball, Taekwondo, Inkawibah, Kalchhet, and Inhruipawh. Competitions in these disciplines will be held at different venues across Aizawl.

A total of 16 Higher Secondary Schools from Aizawl and 12 schools from surrounding areas will participate in the games. Approximately 1,500 students and 200 teachers are expected to attend. The 22nd edition of the Games promises to be a grand sporting event, highlighting student talent across multiple disciplines.

Venues for the 22nd Mizoram Higher Secondary School Games, 2025:

1. Athletics (Boys & Girls): Rajiv Gandhi Stadium & College Veng Field
2. Football (Boys): Rajiv Gandhi Stadium & 1st Battalion MAP Ground, Armed Veng
3. Taekwondo: Electric Veng YMA Hall
4. Volleyball (Boys): Aizawl West Joint YMA Volleyball Court
5. Volleyball (Girls): Electric Veng YMA Hall
6. Kalchhet, Inkawibah & Inhruipawh: Chaltlang Field

The 22nd Mizoram Higher Secondary School Games are expected to showcase athletic excellence and encourage healthy competition among students, while fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship across the state.
