Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade Extends Greetings on International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Raipur, Dec 2025 : Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade has extended her best wishes to all Persons with Disabilities and their families on December 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. She said that persons with disabilities are an integral part of society, and their unique abilities play an important role in our social and economic development.

Smt. Rajwade said that disability is not a weakness; rather, it is a symbol of a person’s distinct identity and courage. We must provide them not sympathy, but equal opportunities and respectful support.

The Minister added that the state government is continuously working for the rehabilitation, education, employment, and social security of persons with disabilities. Connecting them with the mainstream remains a top priority for the government.

Smt. Rajwade appealed to society to collectively create an environment where persons with disabilities can move forward with dignity and confidence. She concluded by wishing them a bright future, saying that their determination is an inspiration to all of us.
