Sonia Gandhi Extends Best Wishes for Telangana Rising Global Summit

Hyderabad, Dec 2025: Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi has conveyed her good wishes for the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled to be held on December 8-9 in Hyderabad. In a message, she congratulated Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for taking the initiative to organise the Summit and expressed hope that it will mark a significant step toward making Telangana a trillion-dollar economy by 2034.

Sonia Gandhi described the Summit as a crucial platform that brings together stakeholders interested in actively participating in Telangana’s developmental projects and initiatives. “The event provides a much-needed common platform for all those eager to contribute to the progress and growth of Telangana,” she stated. She highlighted the state’s three-pronged strategy, which focuses on urban, peri-urban, and rural-agro development, emphasizing that this approach will enable Telangana’s rich human and natural resources, entrepreneurial talent, and technological expertise to reach their full potential.

The Congress leader extended her best wishes to all participants attending the Summit, hoping for their success in contributing to the state’s growth and development.

During his recent visit to New Delhi on December 3, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally invited Sonia Gandhi, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, and senior Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to participate in the Summit. In the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed them on the Vision Document proposed to be unveiled at the event.

In addition to Congress leaders, CM Revanth Reddy also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union ministers to extend formal invitations to the Global Summit. The two-day event is designed to serve as Telangana’s flagship platform, showcasing its development vision, major infrastructure initiatives, investment opportunities, and long-term roadmap under the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision.

The state government has extended invitations to the Chief Ministers of all Indian states to participate in the Summit, which will be held at the upcoming Bharat Future City. Besides political leaders, eminent industrialists, prominent economists, sportspersons, media personalities, diplomats, and experts from various fields have also been invited to contribute to discussions and explore investment opportunities in the state.

The Telangana Rising Global Summit is expected to highlight the state’s strategic focus on sustainable development, infrastructure growth, and technological innovation while providing a platform for collaborative dialogue among business leaders, policymakers, and global experts, further reinforcing Telangana’s commitment to becoming a leading economic and investment destination in India.
