CM Dr. Yadav describes Atal jis personality as sacred waters of Ganga and Yamuna

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, dedicated his life to the service of the nation. He was a towering personality, like Himalaya, and commanded immense respect worldwide. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav remarked, Vajpayee ji was as pure in his language, speech, and personality as the sacred waters of the Ganga and Yamuna. He said that a 15-day ‘Atal Jyoti Sandesh Yatra’ has been launched in Andhra Pradesh as part of Vajpayee ji’s birth centenary celebrations. The yatra will traverse 20 districts of Andhra Pradesh and will conclude on December 25, his birth anniversary.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that a statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee has also been unveiled at Dharmavaram in Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh. Late Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1923, in a middle-class family in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and earned global recognition through his wisdom, leadership and oratory. He shared a close bond with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, who became NDA President during Vajpayee’s tenure as Prime Minister.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in the Atal Jyoti Sandesh Yatra held at Dharmavaram and paid floral tribute at the grand statue of the late leader on Thursday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Atal ji served the nation as Prime Minister for three consecutive terms, conducted nuclear tests at Pokhran, and gave a befitting reply to Pakistan in the Kargil War. He also launched the transformative Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, which revolutionised rural connectivity.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the nation continues to follow the path shown by Vajpayee ji. He emphasized the strong friendship between Prime Minister Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, saying that under Naidu’s leadership, Andhra Pradesh is progressing rapidly in every sector. He stated that Madhya Pradesh is steadily advancing on the path of development under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, The NDA has entrusted the responsibility of Madhya Pradesh to a descendant of Lord Krishna. He said that Shri Naidu has similarly promoted able leadership in Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister remarked, “This reflects the true spirit of ‘Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas’. Seeing the enthusiasm among the people here, it feels as if Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh are like two brothers reunited.”

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav recalled that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched several transformative public welfare initiatives, including the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Sagarmala, Bharatmala, Stand-Up India, and Start-Up India, which are driving the nation’s progress. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Naidu, Andhra Pradesh and the country are moving forward with confidence and unity.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Andhra Pradesh party President Shri T.V.N. Madhav for organising the Atal Jyoti Sandesh Yatra, saying that the initiative will help people of the state learn more about the ideals and life of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The event was attended by MLA Shri Madhusudan Reddy, local public representatives, and a large number of citizens.
