Strong Crackdown on Paper Leaks; 296 Competitive Exams Held with Full Transparency
Jaipur, December 2025 : In the last two years, the state government has taken historic steps to make recruitment examinations transparent. The Special Investigation Team (SIT), formed under the directives of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, has played an active role in curbing irregularities in recruitment exams. By taking strict action against offenders, the SIT has restored the trust of the youth in the examination system. Today, the state’s recruitment exam mechanism is becoming fully secure.
Additional Director General of Police, ATS & SOG, Vishal Bansal, informed that since the formation of the SIT, a total of 296 small and large examinations were successfully conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB), and other recruitment boards until 6 November 2025 — without a single paper leak. Additionally, many recruitment exams conducted by the central government and various state departments were also completed smoothly with zero irregularities.
SIT’s Vigilance Has Safeguarded the Examination System
During the current government’s tenure, credibility has returned to the recruitment system. SIT’s contribution has been vital. Its proactive approach has brought unprecedented change across the entire mechanism. By taking decisive action against exam leak syndicates and cheating mafias, the SIT has strengthened the system. It is notable that the SIT was formed on 16 December 2023 to ensure quick investigation and strict action in paper leak cases.
138 FIRs Registered, 394 Accused Arrested
Since the SIT’s formation, the SOG Police Station has registered 138 FIRs related to dummy candidates, fake degrees, and other recruitment exam irregularities until 6 November 2025. A total of 394 accused have been arrested so far — reflecting the state’s zero-tolerance policy against organized crime.
Decisive Action in High-Profile Cases
ADG Bansal revealed that the SIT has taken conclusive action in major high-profile cases as well. In the SI Recruitment Exam 2021 scam, one suspended RPSC member and a former member were arrested. A total of 132 accused were arrested in this case, including 61 trainee sub-inspectors and 6 selected sub-inspectors (who did not join), making 67 sub-inspectors in total.
Similarly, in the Jail Warder Recruitment Exam 2018 paper leak, the main accused — Jagjit Singh, Project Manager at TCS — was also arrested.
Exam Calendar System for Timely Employment
To ensure youth no longer wait endlessly for government jobs, RPSC and RSMSSB are releasing detailed exam calendars. This has brought great relief to candidates, enabling structured exam preparation.
Recruitment Process Ongoing for 1.53 Lakh Posts
In its two-year tenure, the state government has provided more than 92,000 appointments — the first time recruitment has occurred at such a large scale with full transparency. Recruitment is currently underway for 1.53 lakh posts.
