Development Chariots Flagged Off in Kotputli-Bahrod to Showcase 2 Years of Government Achievements

December 2025, Jaipur : To mark the completion of two years of the current state government, Revenue, Colonization and Soldier Welfare Minister & District In-Charge Minister Vijay Singh Chaudhary flagged off four development chariots from Government LBS College, Kotputli. These mobile units will carry information about government schemes and developmental works to every household.

The Minister emphasized that the government is committed to inclusive development and that citizens must be informed of its achievements. He urged people to participate in spreading awareness of welfare initiatives and submit suggestions via the feedback boxes on the chariots, which will be considered in the next budget.

70% Promises Achieved in Two Years

The Minister highlighted that 70% of the projects promised for five years have already been completed in just two. Significant progress has been made in water and electricity supply, turning farmers into energy producers, with innovations ensuring daytime electricity in 22 districts. About 92,000 government jobs have been created, and MOUs worth ₹35 lakh crore have been signed under the Rising Rajasthan initiative, with ₹8 lakh crore already grounded.

Key social schemes were noted: under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana, cashless treatment up to ₹25 lakh is provided; 70 lakh beneficiaries are covered under the National Food Security Act; women from poor families receive ₹450 LPG cylinders; and girls receive ₹1.5 lakh incentives under the Lado Prerna Yojana.

Kotputli-Bahrod District Records Progress

In the district, under agriculture and farmer welfare, 2.27 lakh meters of fencing were completed. 97,480 mini kits were distributed, 257 solar pumps installed under PM-KUSUM, and 751 rooftop solar units totaling 2,334 kW installed under the SuryaGhar scheme. Additionally, 50 hectares of new orchards were developed under the National Horticulture Mission.

Under rural development and water management, 947 works were completed under the Chief Minister Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan 2.1, with an expenditure of ₹1,563.10 lakh.

The event was attended by elected representatives, officials, and the general public, highlighting the state government’s focus on inclusive and transparent development.
