Eastern Railways Women Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Malda Division Organises Welfare Programme at R.P. Roy Memorial Blind School, Malda.

The *Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Malda Division*, organised a welfare programme today – 16th December 2002, at *R. P. Roy Memorial Blind School, Malda* , with the objective of supporting and encouraging differently-abled students. The initiative was carried out under the leadership of Mrs. Manisha Gupta, President, ERWWO/Malda.

Mrs. Manisha Gupta, along with other members of ERWWO/Malda, including Mrs. Shilpa Verma, Secretary, ERWWO/Malda, was present on the occasion.

During the programme, Mrs. Manisha Gupta, President, ERWWO/Malda, along with other members, donated a harmonium to the students of the school. She interacted with the students and teachers, enquired about their requirements and assured them of continued support from ERWWO/Malda.

The students of the school presented a cultural programme, which was appreciated by all present. Food packets were distributed among the students by the “Mothers – Manisha Gupta and her Team” themselves as part of the welfare initiative.

Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Manisha Gupta expressed her happiness at spending time with the children and praised their confidence and talents. She reiterated that ERWWO/Malda will continue to extend support for the welfare and development of children.
