Enthusiasm Seen for Women and Child Development Department Schemes at State-Level Exhibition

Jaipur, December 2025 : On the occasion of the completion of two successful years of the state government’s tenure, a state-level exhibition has been organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, from December 15. Visitors are showing keen interest in obtaining information about various schemes at the stall of the Women and Child Development Department.

At the stall of the Women and Child Development Department (Directorate of Integrated Child Development Services and Women Empowerment), the general public is being informed about the department’s key schemes.

Under the Lado Protsahan Yojana, so far 4.60 lakh girl children have benefited. Similarly, under the Chief Minister Amrit Aahar Yojana, information is being provided about the distribution of freshly prepared hot milk made from skimmed milk powder to around 16 lakh children aged 3 to 6 years who attend Anganwadi centres daily, five days a week.

Information is also being shared about the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, under which the payable amount has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,500. So far, Rs 531 crore has been disbursed to 9.92 lakh pregnant women. Additionally, details are being provided about the Chief Minister Maternity Nutrition Scheme, under which benefits worth around Rs 170 crore have been given to more than 5 lakh beneficiaries on the birth of a second child.

Apart from these, the exhibition is also providing information about nutrition, pre-school education, health and nutrition education, and other services being delivered through Anganwadi centres.
