CM Nayab Singh’s silence shows that jobs of Haryana’s youth are being deliberately snatched: Anurag Dhandha
Chandigarh, December 2025 : Aam Aadmi Party’s National Media In-charge Anurag Dhandha launched a scathing attack on the BJP government in Haryana, accusing it of playing with the future of the state’s youth. He said in clear terms that the BJP has turned Haryana into a “haven for outsiders,” where local youth are used only for votes, but are sidelined when it comes to jobs.
Anurag Dhandha said that boys and girls of Haryana work hard for years, pursue their studies, and appear in examinations, but BJP policies end up pushing them into unemployment. He asserted that this is not an administrative lapse but a well-thought-out conspiracy to deprive Haryana’s youth of their rightful opportunities. What is most shocking, he added, is that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has maintained complete silence on the issue.
Referring to the Assistant Engineer (AE) recruitment 2025 conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission, Dhandha said the figures themselves reveal the truth. Out of 153 posts in the general category, 106 were given to candidates from outside the state, meaning more than 70 percent of the jobs were handed over to outsiders. In the AE Electricals list, only 29 candidates from Haryana figured among 214 general candidates, clearly showing that the BJP government has completely sidelined Haryana’s youth.
Taking a sharp dig, Anurag Dhandha said the BJP deliberately reduced the domicile requirement from 15 years to just five years so that outsiders could easily occupy government jobs in Haryana, even in reserved categories. “The BJP talks about ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, but the reality is ‘support for outsiders and destruction of Haryana’s youth’,” he said.
He further alleged that under BJP rule, Haryana has also become a stronghold of the paper leak mafia. Today, the future of young aspirants is being sold for Rs 3–4 lakh, he claimed. Arrests made in Sonipat in connection with the CSIR-UGC-NET 2025 paper leak case clearly show that question papers are being sold even before examinations, while the government remains a silent spectator. He said that while the Chief Minister claims no paper leak has taken place, police action itself is exposing the BJP’s lies.
Anurag Dhandha questioned whom Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is trying to protect. “Is the paper leak mafia enjoying political patronage?” he asked, adding that while the future of youth is being destroyed, the government is only focused on saving its chair.
He said the Aam Aadmi Party stands firmly with the youth of Haryana and will not tolerate this injustice at any cost. He demanded an immediate and impartial inquiry into the AE recruitment process, complete priority for Haryana’s youth in government jobs, and a CBI probe into all paper leak cases, with strict punishment for the guilty.
Issuing a warning, Anurag Dhandha said that if the BJP government does not wake up, the Aam Aadmi Party will launch a massive public movement along with Haryana’s youth. “This government that snatches away the rights of the youth will not last long. Haryana’s youth will no longer remain silent and will definitely respond to this injustice,” he said.
