Jaipur, Jan 2026: Jaipur is set to witness a historic moment in its cultural calendar as the first Jaipur Comic Con kicks off on Sunday, January 4, as part of the Rajasthan DigiFest Tie Global Summit 2026 at JECC, Sitapura, running until January 6. Organized under the Rajasthan government’s AVGC policy, the event will showcase the state’s thriving animation, gaming, and creative industries. The Comic Con is a sideline feature of Rajasthan DigiFest, aimed at bridging the gap between pop culture and professional opportunities.

Highlights of Day One:

Main Stage Festival: The central hub of activities will include:
- International Spotlight (1:45 PM): Eisner-nominated and New York Times bestselling comic book artist Yannick Paquette (renowned for his work on Batman, Wonder Woman, and Swamp Thing) will headline the “Creators Across Continents” session.
- Rajasthan Creator Circle (1:15 PM): A dedicated panel for local talent discussing how Jaipur is becoming a preferred hub for digital illustrators and storytellers, covering goals, progress, and achievements.
- Music & Comedy Shows: Fan-favorite band Geek Fruit will perform live at 3:00 PM, followed by comedian Inder Sahani at 3:30 PM.
- Cosplay Championship (4:15 PM): The Indian Championship of Cosplay (Jaipur Qualifier) begins, where fans compete for a spot in the national finals.
- Special Experiences: Includes Crunchyroll (Anime) and Amar Chitra Katha sessions, along with a Maruti Suzuki Arena Interactive Zone.
