MoU Signed for Housing and Infrastructure Development
Raipur, January 2026 : With the objective of accelerating infrastructure development and housing construction in Chhattisgarh, the Government of Chhattisgarh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO). This strategic partnership marks a significant step towards achieving the state’s development goals, with a primary focus on securing financing for key housing and infrastructure projects.
The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of Finance Department Secretary Shri Mukesh Kumar Bansal, Special Secretary Shri Chandan Kumar, Special Secretary Smt. Sheetal Shashwat Verma, Deputy Secretary Shri Rishabh Kumar Parashar, and Under Secretary Shri Chandra Prakash Pandey. Representing HUDCO were Director (Finance) Shri Daljeet Singh Khatri and Regional Chief Shri Hitesh Borad. The event took place yesterday at Mahanadi Bhavan, Mantralaya, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar.
This agreement establishes a framework under which HUDCO will provide financial assistance and technical support to the State Government for various development initiatives.
The primary objective of the MoU is to facilitate financing for major housing projects and infrastructure development in Chhattisgarh. The collaboration will focus on strengthening infrastructure financing and ensuring the availability of affordable housing, which will directly contribute to improving the quality of life of the citizens of Chhattisgarh.
The partnership also underscores the State Government’s commitment to modernization and sustainable development. By leveraging HUDCO’s expertise and financial strength, the government aims to translate transformative development projects into reality.
