Women’s Democracy Day to Be Observed on January 19

Mumbai, Jan 2026 : The District Women and Child Development Officer, Mumbai City, has announced that Women’s Democracy Day is observed on the third Monday of every month. Accordingly, the next Women’s Democracy Day will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the District Collector’s Office, Mumbai City, as informed by Shobha Shelar, District Women and Child Development Officer, Mumbai City, through an official press release.

Under this initiative, a convenient platform is provided at the district level for women to submit their complaints and applications. A sample complaint form is available at the Women and Child Development Officer’s Office, 215 B.B.D. Chawl, First Floor, Worli, Mumbai – 400025.

Women submitting complaints are required to fill out the prescribed format. Complaints should be personal in nature. Cases that are already in the legal system, incomplete applications, issues related to religion or politics, or complaints not of a personal nature will not be accepted, the press release clarified.
