Khawzawl Independence Day 2024 Pual Volleyball Tournament Closing Ceremony

Khawzawl : Yesterday at 5:30 PM, the closing ceremony of the 78th Independence Day Celebration Volleyball Tournament 2024, organized by the Khawzawl District Volleyball Association from 8th August to 15th August, was held. Khawzawl Deputy Commissioner, Mr. K. Vanlalthiana, graced the occasion as the chief guest and distributed the awards.

In his speech, DC Mr. K. Vanlalthiana expressed his appreciation for the participation of skilled and disciplined youth in the tournament. He also encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in such competitions, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a spirit of sportsmanship. He further stated that the youth of Khawzawl district have the potential to achieve great things and make the district proud.

In the men’s final, BMM VC defeated Chawngtlai VC, while in the women’s final, Kawnzar team triumphed over Lungvar team. The awards were presented by DC Mr. K. Vanlalthiana.
