Discussions Held on Strengthening Public Investment Management in the State and Other Key Issues
Jaipur, September 2026 : Director of the International Monetary Fund’s South Asia Regional Training and Technical Assistance Center (IMF-SARTTAC), Shri Harald Finger, paid a courtesy call on Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas on Monday.
During the meeting, they discussed public investment management, improving investment efficiency and various issues related to public investment in the State. GST reforms, the SNA-SPARSH system and digitisation of the State Treasury system were also deliberated upon.
They also exchanged views on making public financial management more effective, transparent and technology-driven, as well as enhancing efficiency in the planning and implementation of public investments.
Special Secretary, Finance (Budget), Smt. Shivangi Swarnkar, and SARTTAC’s Resident Public Financial Management Advisor, Shri Stephen Turnbull, were also present on the occasion.
