Dehradun, Sept 2026 : Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister and Minister for New and Renewable Energy Rakesh Shukla paid a courtesy visit to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday. Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal was also present during the meeting.
Dhami and Shukla held detailed discussions on various contemporary issues, development schemes being implemented in both states and matters related to public welfare. They also discussed possibilities for cooperation between the two states, exchange of experiences and best practices, and opportunities for collaboration across different areas of development.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed issues related to clean and green energy, innovation in renewable energy and sustainable development. Given Madhya Pradesh’s efforts to promote solar and other renewable energy projects, the exchange of experiences and possibilities between the two states in the energy sector was also considered important.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh share longstanding cordial and cultural ties. He said that exchanging experiences and best practices between the two states in various sectors could help make the development process more effective and accelerate progress.
Rakesh Shukla also discussed Uttarakhand’s development and the initiatives being undertaken by the state government across various sectors.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two states to explore areas of mutual cooperation, particularly in renewable energy, sustainable development and other sectors of public interest.
