Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav listened to the 138th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s popular radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ along with public representatives and local residents at the Mahakal Temple premises in Ujjain on Sunday.
Prime Minister Shri Modi, in the 138th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, lauded the efforts of Madhya Pradesh youth towards river cleanliness. He said the youth began with a small initiative, and gradually, other members of society also joined the effort. The Prime Minister described it as a vivid example of public participation. He said such cleanliness initiatives not only convey the message of environmental conservation but also create a sense of collective responsibility in society. He urged citizens to join cleanliness campaigns and keep natural water sources in their surroundings clean.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said in a post on ‘X’ that Prime Minister Shri Modi highlighted remarkable efforts involving public participation in cleanliness and specifically shared the commendable efforts of youth in Madhya Pradesh towards river cleanliness. He also shared inspiring thoughts on important issues including de-addiction, environmental conservation, nutrition, providing opportunities to sporting talent and preserving the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a powerful medium for bringing before the nation the people-led initiatives and positive changes taking place in every corner of the country. It gives new energy to the spirit of service, participation and resolve.
