Chief Secretary directs officials to expedite implementation of MoUs and ensure time-bound disposal of pending cases

Investment proposals worth more than Rs 8 lakh crore grounded under Rising Rajasthan

Jaipur, September 2026 : Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas said that Rising Rajasthan has created a conducive environment for investment in the State. He directed officials to make effective and coordinated efforts towards achieving the target of taking maximum MoUs to the ground-breaking stage by the upcoming Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas on December 10, in accordance with the Chief Minister’s vision.

The Chief Secretary was addressing a review meeting held at the Government Secretariat on Monday to review the progress and implementation of MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit. Related officials briefed him regarding the status of pending cases related to various departments, following which he directed their expeditious disposal.

He ordered that necessary proposals and files related to investment projects be submitted at the earliest. At the same time, continuous coordination should be maintained with the concerned District Collectors to ensure that obstacles arising in the implementation of projects are resolved on a priority basis. He particularly emphasised ensuring the required progress by the Energy and Revenue Departments.

The Chief Secretary also directed that land-related matters be given priority for expeditious disposal. He said that matters related to identification and allotment of land must be resolved at the earliest so that unnecessary delays in the implementation of investment proposals can be avoided and the process of taking projects to the ground can be expedited.

During the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries, Shri Shikhar Agrawal, informed the meeting about the department-wise progress and stated that investment proposals worth more than Rs 35 lakh crore under Rising Rajasthan are at various stages. Of these, investment proposals worth more than Rs 8 lakh crore have already reached the ground-breaking stage.

He said that, to achieve the upcoming targets, cases requiring approval should not face unnecessary delays and should be approved at the earliest. At the same time, in cases where approval is not possible, an immediate decision should be taken and such cases should not be kept pending. He gave clear directions to officials to ensure the time-bound disposal of pending cases and not to keep any case pending unnecessarily.

The meeting reviewed the targets fixed department-wise and the progress achieved against them. Officials were directed to regularly monitor cases related to investment proposals and expedite necessary action to ensure achievement of the set targets.

Senior officials from various departments were present at the meeting, while the concerned District Collectors joined through video conference.
