Chennai Super Kings Cruise Past Mumbai Indians with 8-Wicket Win

Despite these contributions, CSK’s disciplined bowling attack kept the scoring in check. Anshul Kamboj stood out with figures of 3 for 32, while Noor Ahmad provided crucial support with 2 for 26.

In reply, Chennai Super Kings chased down the target of 160 with ease, reaching 160/2 in just 18.1 overs. Although they lost Sanju Samson early for 11, skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad anchored the innings with a composed unbeaten 67 off 48 balls. He was well supported by Kartik Sharma, who scored a steady 54 off 40 balls.

Late fireworks from Urvil Patel, who smashed 24 off just 12 deliveries, ensured a swift finish for the hosts. The comfortable victory highlighted CSK’s strong batting depth and balanced bowling unit, further boosting their standing in the tournament.
