Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari Unveils Martyr’s Statue, Attends Religious Ceremony in Khandela

Jaipur, May 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari visited Khandela in Sikar district, where she unveiled the statue of Kargil war martyr Vijendra Singh Shekhawat in Samarthpura village and paid tribute to his supreme sacrifice.

During the ceremony, homage was paid to all martyrs, remembering their courage and dedication to the nation. Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister urged the youth to draw inspiration from the sacrifices of soldiers and remain committed to serving the country. The atmosphere resonated with slogans of “Shaheed Vijendra Singh Amar Rahe,” reflecting deep respect and patriotism among those present.

As part of the event, Veeranganas (women from martyrs’ families) were also honoured in recognition of their strength and sacrifice.

Later, Diya Kumari visited the Jamway Mata Temple, where she participated in the consecration ceremony (Pran Pratishtha) of the deity’s idol. She offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the state.

The visit combined both a tribute to national heroes and participation in a significant religious event, highlighting respect for sacrifice and cultural traditions.
