Yogi Adityanath Hails PM Modi’s 12-Year Tenure as “Epoch-Making Journey” of Governance and Development
New Delhi, May 2026 : As the Narendra Modi-led BJP government prepares to complete 12 years in office, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing his leadership as an “epoch-making journey” defined by public service, effective governance and accelerated national development.
In a post on social media platform X (in Hindi), CM Yogi extended greetings to the Prime Minister on completing 12 years at the Centre and credited the Modi government with transforming India’s welfare delivery system, strengthening its global position, and advancing the vision of a developed nation.
“Heartiest congratulations to the world’s most popular politician, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, on completing 12 glorious years dedicated to service, good governance and public welfare as the ‘pradhan sevak’,” he wrote.
He further said that during these 12 years, governance priorities had shifted significantly towards welfare of the poor, with “Antyodaya” evolving into a framework of self-reliance and inclusive growth. According to him, public participation has played a central role in turning development into a mass movement across the country.
“In these years, poor welfare became the priority of governance, Antyodaya transformed into the power of self-reliance, and public participation shaped development into a people’s movement,” he added.
CM Yogi said that this approach has contributed to building what he called a “New India,” where women’s empowerment, technological innovation, economic expansion and cultural revival are progressing together in a coordinated manner. He said these elements reflect a broader transformation in governance philosophy and national ambition.
Highlighting India’s global and strategic position, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said the country today stands stronger in terms of security, diplomacy and international credibility under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
“Steadfast at the borders, decisive against terrorism, and brimming with confidence on the global stage, India today stands established as a strong and reliable leader,” his post said.
He also referred to the concept of the “triveni” of digital technology, demographic strength and democratic governance, saying it is driving momentum towards the long-term vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047,” which aims to transform India into a developed nation by the centenary of independence.
CM Yogi further highlighted several flagship welfare schemes of the central government, stating that initiatives such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jan-Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana and PM Swanidhi have expanded the reach of welfare delivery to the grassroots level.
“These schemes have extended development to the lives of the people, strengthening trust, and this trust is shaping the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’,” he said.
He concluded his message by expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for what he described as a transformative journey guided by the principle of “Nation First” and the resolve of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, or self-reliant India.
“Countless salutations to Prime Minister ji for this epoch-making journey,” CM Yogi added.
Meanwhile, as the BJP-led NDA government completes 12 years at the Centre, the Union government has announced a nationwide outreach campaign. Under this initiative, Union ministers, BJP leaders, chief ministers and Members of Parliament will engage with citizens across the country to showcase what the government describes as its “22 major achievements” across key sectors including economy, infrastructure, welfare and governance.
