Village Upliftment Camp Reviewed in Ramgarh

Jaipur, February 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that Village Upliftment Camps are being organised at every girdawar circle across the state to ensure that welfare schemes reach farmers, labourers, livestock rearers, and the last person in society. Through these camps, the government is directly reaching eligible beneficiaries and ensuring swift resolution of their issues. He urged villagers to take maximum benefit of these camps.

The Chief Minister was addressing a Village Upliftment Camp held at Bahala village in Ramgarh on Sunday. On the occasion, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth over ₹152 crore for Alwar city, covering sectors such as education, health, energy, infrastructure, and civic amenities.

Villages Becoming Self-Reliant and Empowered

Mr. Sharma said that villages are the soul of the nation, and in line with this philosophy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid out a roadmap to make villages self-reliant and empowered. Initiatives such as the Swachh Bharat Mission have helped villages become open-defecation free, while the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has provided permanent houses to crores of families. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, clean drinking water is being supplied to every household through tap connections.

VB G-RAM-G Law to Strengthen Rural Infrastructure

The Chief Minister said that under the VB G-RAM-G Act, rural workers will get 125 days of employment instead of 100 days annually. All works under this law will be carried out with complete transparency using modern technology, ensuring that wages are directly credited to workers’ bank accounts. The creation of permanent assets will strengthen rural infrastructure. He added that shortcomings of MNREGA have been addressed in this law, which will play a key role in realising the vision of a Developed India.

Relief to Villagers Through 1,800 Camps

Mr. Sharma said that more than 1,800 Village Upliftment Camps have been organised so far, benefiting villagers through central and state welfare schemes. These camps have facilitated the distribution of over 1.34 lakh Soil Health Cards, 65,000 ownership (Swamitva) cards, acceptance of 37,000 Kisan Credit Card applications, treatment of nearly 6.5 lakh livestock, and registration of more than 36,000 beneficiaries under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme.

₹9,000 Farmer Assistance in Rajasthan

He said the state government has launched the Mukhyamantri Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana for the welfare of livestock rearers, enabling registration of animals and issuance of instant health certificates. Efforts are also underway to strengthen the dairy sector through registration of primary and dairy cooperative societies. To support women, a subsidy of ₹5 per litre of milk is being provided. Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers in Rajasthan are receiving ₹9,000. He reiterated that the state government is working with commitment on the Prime Minister’s mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”

Employment and Youth Empowerment

The Chief Minister said that over one lakh government appointments have already been made, while recruitment for 1.54 lakh posts is underway. A recruitment calendar for one lakh government posts has been issued for this year. He emphasised that not a single paper leak has occurred during the government’s two-year tenure and that all examinations and recruitments have been conducted transparently. He urged youth to focus on their studies and highlighted the new Youth Policy, under which interest-free loans will be provided to help young people become job creators.

Path to a Developed Rajasthan

Union Minister for Forest, Environment and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav said that Village Upliftment Camps initiated by the Chief Minister have facilitated smooth implementation of works related to dairy development, solar energy, and other sectors. He said welfare initiatives aligned with the ideas of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and the Prime Minister’s vision of poor welfare are being implemented, paving the way for a Developed Rajasthan. He thanked the Chief Minister for approving ₹250 crore for a 5.5 lakh-litre capacity dairy project in Alwar.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Forest and Environment Sanjay Sharma said that Alwar district is witnessing continuous development under the Chief Minister’s leadership, citing projects such as the Ramjal Setu Link Project, Women’s Polytechnic College, improved urban water supply, and a girls’ college, along with major water conservation initiatives.

Earlier, the Chief Minister reviewed stalls set up by 12 departments at the camp, distributed cheques and certificates to beneficiaries, and presented electric wheelchairs to four specially-abled persons. Legislators, public representatives, officials, and a large number of citizens were present at the event.
