Technology is Meaningful Only when it Serves Humanity—We will Adopt AI for Good Governance and Inclusive Development : CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasised that any new technology becomes truly meaningful only when it effectively serves humanity and generates inclusive opportunities for all. He said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) must be adopted as a tool for innovation-driven inclusive development, social harmony, good governance and the holistic progress of the nation and the State. The Chief Minister emphasised that India is steadily advancing by embracing digital transformation. In such a scenario, AI can bring revolutionary changes in agriculture, irrigation, education, healthcare, tourism and administration. Through AI, transparency will increase, decision-making will become faster, and government schemes will reach citizens more effectively.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called for national unity and a shared commitment, stating that through collective efforts and the responsible use of AI, India can scale new heights of inclusive and sustainable prosperity. AI is both an opportunity and a responsibility. Madhya Pradesh will soon launch the State AI Mission, a major step toward transforming governance systems, public services and economic opportunities through technology.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in the valedictory session of the India AI Impact Summit–2026 held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. At the Bhopal Media Centre within Bharat Mandapam, he interacted
openly with national media correspondents on the future of AI and its applications.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has emphasised working fearlessly with AI in the national interest. Under his leadership, India is progressing rapidly and Madhya Pradesh is playing a significant role in this growth. As India’s fifth-largest State, Madhya Pradesh is committed to using AI in healthcare for early disease detection, accurate diagnosis and improved facilities in remote areas. The State also has ample land and water resources to attract new industries.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, describing AI as a ‘new scientific discipline of the new era’, emphasised its responsible and humane use. He stated that AI is not only a means of technological progress but also a powerful instrument to improve the quality of human life. For a culturally rich nation like India, AI development must align with Indian human values. India possesses a unique convergence of talent, resources, and vision. With proper direction, AI can position India as a global leader in the AI landscape. He said that the future of AI lies in technological excellence, ethics, transparency and inclusivity.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that an AI-based mega data centre will be established in Madhya Pradesh. Major investors and companies have been invited to participate. AI will accelerate the State’s
technological advancement and prosperity.
In agriculture, AI will prove revolutionary, helping farmers detect crop diseases in time, improve productivity, promote multi-cropping, ensure better access to irrigation and electricity, establish processing units, and enhance logistics. IT parks are being developed in both major and smaller cities, and the government is working to provide local employment opportunities for youth through AI-driven growth.
The State will promote AI start-ups, research, innovation, MSME integratio and industry research centres to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. AI will also be promoted in the power sector, where the State is moving toward self-reliance.
Madhya Pradesh is advancing in agriculture, leading in wheat and paddy production. The government is promoting horticulture, fruit cultivation, and organic farming to enhance farmers’ income. AI will support agricultural production and farmer welfare initiatives.
In education and healthcare, AI will play a key role, including in combating sickle cell anaemia. The State was among the first to implement the National Education Policy 2020, and innovation is being encouraged
through Sandipani Schools and PM Excellence Colleges.
AI will also strengthen religious tourism. With the Simhastha Mahakumbh scheduled in Ujjain in 2028, AI will assist in systematic planning and management, including enhanced homestay connectivity and visitor facilitation.
Comprehensive AI Ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the creation of a full-fledged AI ecosystem in the State, comprising five major pillars. Computer Infrastructure – Shared GPU facilities and data centres, Talent Development – AI education in colleges and industry certifications, Start-up Support – Funding, mentorship and incubation, Industry Adoption – Incentives for AI integration and Research & Innovation – Industry-linked research centres and innovation support.
AI-focused accelerators will be launched in Bhopal and Indore. An AI Governance Sandbox will be established through the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation. AI technologies will also be incorporated into the Industrial Development Policy, with the potential to enhance productivity by 15–20 per cent, particularly in the textiles, pharmaceuticals, mining and automobile sectors.
The State will promote solar-based energy centres, hybrid energy models and green data centres to ensure digital growth while promoting environmental conservation. Over the next five years, the government aims to support over 500 AI start-ups and generate more than 50,000 new jobs. AI will become a major growth engine of the State’s economy.
One-to-One Dialogues with Global Tech Leaders
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held one-to-one discussions with leaders of leading global technology firms at the summit. He met Sushri Calista Redmond, Vice President (Global AI Initiatives) of NVIDIA, to discuss
public-private partnerships, subsidised GPU access for start-ups, collaboration mechanisms, LLM models, sovereign AI development and participation in NVIDIA’s flagship programs. In discussions with Dr. Pratyush Kumar, Co-founder of Sarvam AI, emphasis was placed on building full-stack sovereign AI models and strengthening the ecosystem for start-ups and developers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a one-to-one meeting with Shri Breno Mello, Global GTM Head of Genspark AI, to discuss the company’s role as a solutions provider in the State, the utilisation of its available technological solutions and the initiation of pilot programs in accordance with the MoU. Yadav visited the Google Pavilion and discussed AI, AR and VR-based tourism innovations, including virtual heritage tours, personalised travel experiences, real-time visitor engagement, AI-driven destination analytics, and sustainable tourism practices.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held discussions with Sushri Shruti Verma of K-Gen AI on capacity building in universities and colleges, organising game jams, promoting game development and AI upskilling, connecting with Madhya Pradesh’s Atal Project and establishing a studio in Indore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also met representatives of Google Play to discuss AI skilling, support for gaming start-ups, certification and training programs, accelerator initiatives, content export and potential collaboration during Ujjain Simhastha 2028.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held discussions with Shri Dev Tyagi, President of Submer Technologies (India), on low water-consumption immersive cooling technology, the potential reduction of electricity consumption by up to 40 per cent, and the development of sustainable AI data centers. Submer Technologies, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, is a global data centre technology company that develops liquid immersion cooling solutions. He also met Shri Kapil Jain, Founder and CEO of Invid AI, to discuss the development of physics-based AI solutions, the upgradation and transformation of Madhya Pradesh’s data centres, digital twin simulations, energy consumption management, and the potential to increase power generation in the State by up to 8 megawatts. Invid AI is a U.S.-based advanced physics-informed AI company that develops smart solutions for engineering and industrial sectors.
MoUs and Strategic Partnerships
In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, three strategic MoUs were exchanged through the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation with Genspark AI Inc. for AI infrastructure optimisation
and governance solutions, with Invid AI for deploying AI-powered digital twin solutions at the State Data Centre, with Sarvam AI for sovereign AI infrastructure and AI-enabled public services. A Letter of Intent was issued to Submer Technologies S.L. for developing energy-efficient, liquid-cooled, AI-ready data centre infrastructure.
Visit to Google Pavilion and MP Pavilion
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the Google Pavilion and discussed AI, AR, and VR-based tourism innovations, including virtual heritage tours, personalised travel experiences, real-time visitor engagement, AI-driven destination analytics, and sustainable tourism practices.
At the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion, he reviewed advanced AI solutions presented by innovative enterprises and institutions, including IIT Indore and other AI-driven start-ups. Government departments also showcased AI applications in urban governance, rural development, healthcare analytics, tourism, and financial management systems.
Senior officials including Principal Secretary (Science & Technology) Shri M. Selvendram, Secretary Transport & Commissioner Public Relations Shri Manish Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Ilaiyaraaja T. and Managing Director of MP Industrial Development Corporation Shri Chandramouli Shukla, were present.
